Stark and Beautiful


I took this photo in April 2007 in The Golden Gate Highlands National Park (which I posted about here). The early morning sky was clear. As I focussed on the silhouette of the dead tree, a wispy cloud hovered in the V formed by the branches.

    I like how the tree is silhouetted against the blue sky. There seems to be some light hitting the side of the tree as well..
